Helen Forgione

Orlando - Helen Forgione, currently of Orlando, passed away with her loving family around her, on March 24, 2022. Helen was born on March 3,1929 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She met her soulmate, Vernon Forgione, married and lived in Memphis, Tennessee until they moved to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in 1968. Helen was one of the first nurses to work at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center in 1968. She went on to open the Newborn Nursery Department and worked as Head Nurse there for over 30 years. Her hobby was her family. She loved a Pretty day, pink, Disney, chatting on the phone, going out to eat, being with family, a good cup of coffee and chocolate cake. She was the perfect mother and grandmother. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon D Forgione and her nephew Vernon Forgione. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Forgione Hall and husband William Hall; her son, Joseph W Forgione and his wife Michelle (Aia) Forgione; her son, Donald V Forgione and wife Rosalie (Bryan) Forgione; Granddaughters, Ariana Hall; Rosalie Alfonso and Joe Alfonso; Makayla Forgione; Grandsons, Gavin Hall and wife Dawn (Hatton) Hall; Bryan Forgione and wife Jamie (Kelly) Forgione; Noah Forgione; Great Grandchildren, Joey Alfonso, Sage Alfonso, Venus-Blue Forgione, Vernon Wallace Forgione; Adalyn Hall, Siena Hall; Her sister, Edna Stilwell; nieces and nephews and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home on 754 US HWY 1, North Palm Beach, Florida from 4pm to 7pm. On Thursday March 31st at 11am, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Mark Mlay at St Clare Catholic Church on 821 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach, FL. Interment will follow at Royal Palm Gardens Cemetery on 5601 Greenwood Ave, West Palm Beach, FL.
